BBSI Q3 Net Income Pared by Settlement Expense

Barrett Business Services Inc., a professional employer organization based in Vancouver, Washington, has reported net income of $10.2 million for the third quarter, a 7.2% decrease from net income of $11 million in the prior-year quarter. Net income in the third quarter included a 30-cent per diluted share expense for the settlement of a November 2014 class action shareholder lawsuit, the company said in a news release last week.
