Nurse case managers aren’t a new concept in workers’ compensation, but there seems to be a growing movement to put injured workers in touch with a nurse as early as possible in a claim. It’s an approach that’s been successful for The Travelers Companies, which this year doubled the size of its patented program called ConciergeClaim Nurse.
