Janitorial Firms Ordered to Pay $13M in Damages

A Los Angeles court ordered two Texas-based companies to pay damages totaling $13.6 million in a lawsuit filed by the state Attorney General's Office alleging they evaded payroll taxes and failed to pay minimum wage and overtime to some 300 janitors, Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet and Attorney General Edmund G. Brown announced Monday.Excell Cleaning and Building Services and M.O.
