The U.S. Department of Labor on Thursday announced it is suing an Illinois roofing contractor for allegedly failing to pay $360,531 in penalties for repeatedly exposing workers to fall hazards.
The Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission in March affirmed citations given to Joshua Herion, the operator of ECS Roofing Professionals, for failing to provide fall arrest systems, a safety net or guardrails at two job sites in Illinois and Wisconsin.
