Quinn Appoints Commissioner and Arbitrator to IWCC

Illinois Gov. Patrick Quinn has appointed Arbitrator Stephen Mathis as a commissioner representing the public and Jessica Hegarty as an arbitrator, the Workers' Compensation Commission announced Wednesday.Commissioner Mathis has served as an arbitrator since 1996. According to the state appointments website, he began his term as a commissioner on Jan. 3 and will serve a term that expires on Jan. 16, 2017.
