Industrial Commission Changes Benefits Reinstatement Form

The North Carolina Industrial Commission has posted revisions to its Application to Reinstate Payment of Disability Compensation in response to requirements included in legislation adopted by the General Assembly during the 2013 session.The required revisions were included in Senate Bill 174, which rejected 36 rules adopted by the Industrial Commission last year as part of a workers' compensation regulatory reform bill passed in 2011.SB 174 directs the commission to revise its process for resolving medical disputes and to establish an informal hearings process for reviewing requests by inj...
