Texas Dept. of Insurance to Adopt NCCI Basic Manual Oct. 1

The Texas Department of Insurance will adopt the National Council on Compensation Insurance Basic Manual with Texas exceptions effective Oct. 1, which allows carriers to adopt the manual as early as June 1, according to a department order issued Tuesday.Terri Robinson, NCCI state relations executive for Texas, said the adoption will include national and specific endorsements and forms in the NCCI forms manual.
