A Northern California man faces four felony counts of fraud and one felony count of attempted perjury for allegedly making false statements to obtain benefits, according to a copy of a complaint provided by Intercare Holdings Insurance Service.
Sven Alfred Helmut Hoffmann falsely stated that he has not done any design work for three years or had not made any money from such work in the past three years, and was limited to lifting weights of less than 25 pounds, according to the complaint filed April 7 with the Monterey County Superior Court.
