Meat Processor Faces $67,000 Fine After Worker Slices Stomach on Breaking Saw

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a meat processing plant and proposed fines of nearly $70,000 after a worker sliced his gut on a hydraulic saw. FPL Food LLC, which employs 400 people at its facility in August, Georgia, was cited with 15 serious safety violations after OSHA inspected the facility after the worker was severely injured on Dec. 3, 2015.
