Beef Processor Cited After Worker Burned by Gas

A beef processing plant in Hastings, Nebraska, has received federal safety citations after a worker was severely burned by industrial gas. Noah’s Ark Processors LLC faces proposed penalties of $182,926 in connection with the citations, which the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued on Friday. The company has 15 business days to contest the citations.
