The Workers Compensation Research Institute posted a new study identifying patterns and trends in claims for back and shoulder injuries where medical expenses exceeded $65,000 within three years of injury.
The study analyzes conditions such as neurologic back pain, degenerative back conditions, rotator cuff disorders and frozen shoulders in about 194,000 claims in 32 states to answer questions including:
