A former letter carrier was sentenced on Wednesday to 18 months in federal prison and ordered to repay the U.S. Postal Service $326,467.88 for workers' compensation benefits she obtained through fraud, according to the U.S. District Attorney's Office for the Northern District of New York.U.S. District Judge Norman Mordue imposed the sentence on Tracey Raponi, 42, of Martville, N.Y., the office said in a press release.Raponi pleaded guilty on April 30 to fraud in obtaining federal employees’ compensation benefits.
