Michael D. Drobot started serving a 63-month prison sentence for paying kickbacks to providers who referred California workers’ compensation patients to Pacific Hospital of Long Beach.
Drobot turned himself in to start serving the sentence on Friday after a federal judge denied his request to postpone the incarceration date. He is being held at Taft Correctional Institution near Bakersfield, California, according to federal inmate records.
