Opponents of a ballot initiative proposing a single-payer system in Colorado that would also cover workers’ compensation medical costs have raised nearly twice as much money as supporters, according to data available on the Secretary of State’s website.
But backers of the proposed constitutional amendment that will go before voters in November have outspent the opposition. And the Denver Business Journal reported in May that more than 50% of voters say they support the proposal.
