Board Moves to Ban Weapons at Facilities, Allow Phone Conferencing

The Washington Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals is moving toward electronic filing, banning weapons at its facilities and allowing judges to conduct conferences by phone. The directives come from a set of rules that go into effect in early January.  The weapons ban applies to everyone who enters a board facility except security guards, police officers and board employees who have obtained written permission.
