The Washington Potato Co. faces $213,160 in penalties for eight repeat violations and an additional 15 serious violations following a Department of Labor & Industries investigation.
L&I launched an inspection after a worker at the potato company’s Warden plant got his arm caught in an auger. The investigation found another employee started the auger without knowing that someone else was working on it.
