O.C. Woman Pleads Guilty to Workers' Comp Fraud

An Orange County woman who worked a series of four jobs while collecting workers' compensation and state disability – and demanded that the California Division of Workers' Compensation audit her claim – pleaded guilty to multiple counts of insurance fraud and one count of attempted perjury. Under the terms of her agreement with prosecutors, Lynn Lorene Adams faces up to 270 days in jail and five years of probation. She also must make restitution of $14,078 to Traveler's Insurance Co. and $30,368 to the Employment Development Department and dismiss her workers' compe...
