DWC Requests Comments on Medical Quality Review Process Changes

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation is accepting public comments on proposed changes to the medical quality review process. MQR is a medical case review based on a written complaint, which may include an internal referral, a plan-based audit or monitoring resulting from a consent order. The proposed MQR process revisal is not a formal rule proposal under the Administrative Procedure Act. DWC will not treat comments as formal public comments.
