L&I Fines Dollar Tree $145K for Stacking Boxes Too High, Other Violations

Washington's Department of Labor and Industries fined Dollar Tree Stores Inc. $145,200 for safety violations at its Aberdeen store. Inspectors found the storage room was "a crowded jumble of stacked boxes, bundles and containers that weren't secured and could topple over at any moment," L&I wrote in its announcement of the fine.
