Voters Injured at Work, an organization advocating for California's injured workers and their families, announced Isabel Pires as its new executive director.
Pires will succeed Jesse Ceniceros, the organization said in a statement released just before Thanksgiving.
Pires brings 24 years of nonprofit and comp-related experience to the role. She was previously a director of technology and marketing at the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association and an executive assistant at LatinoComp.
Ceniceros will work alongside Pires during the transition of leadership.
