The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation is holding a hearing on Nov. 1 on proposed rules that would modify the due date for benefit payments.
“Under new legislation (HB21-1050), benefits must be mailed at least three business days prior to being due,” the division said in a rulemaking proposal. “This proposal alters the due dates for benefits to provide the three days required for mailing.”
