Governor Makes Appointments to Medical Boards

California Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday announced appointments to the acupuncture, podiatry and chiropractor boards.Brown appointed Ted Priebe, 64, of Redondo Beach, to the California Board of Acupuncture. Priebe, a Republican, has been an acupuncturist at Healthpointe since 2010 and has been an acupuncturist with the Pain and Rehabilitation Medical Group since 1995.The governor reappointed Julie Elginer, 40, of Calabasas, to the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners, where she has served since 2012.
