Federal safety regulators fined a Colorado power company $75,000 for exposing workers to electrical shock hazards by not de-energizing lines that were being repaired following a thunderstorm in July.The Occupational Safety and Health Administration proposed a penalty of $70,000 to Black Hills Corp., which operates as Black Hills Energy in Pueblo, for the willful violation of not shutting down four of five lines that needed repairs.OSHA also alleged a serious violation with a proposed $5,000 fine for not conducting an adequate briefing to inform workers of all the potential hazards associated w...
