Kamin, ReporterThe Texas Division of Workers' Compensation is proposing new rules that will implement tighter standards on independent review organizations passed by the state Legislature earlier this year.The agency announced that it will hold a Nov. 20 meeting to discuss rulemaking that will supplement House Bill 2645, by Rep. Chris Turner, D-Arlington. Gov. Rick Perry signed the bill into law on June 14 and the measure took effect on Sept. 1.
