DWC Proposes to Adopt Anxiety Disorder Treatment Guidelines

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation is proposing to adopt evidence-based treatment guidelines addressing anxiety disorders. The division on Monday announced that it will hold a public hearing June 11 to hear testimony on its proposal to incorporate into the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule the anxiety disorders guideline published April 30 by the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
