The 62nd annual Washington state Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Conference on Wednesday and Thursday will feature two days of workshops designed to teach employers how to reduce accident rates and workers’ compensation costs.The conference, which is being held Sept. 25 and 26 at the Tacoma Convention Center, includes sessions on how to manage an aging workforce, overcoming language barriers in the workplace, fall protection and proper lockout/tagout procedures.
