The Georgia Court of Appeals ruled that a judge should not have set aside a denial of a worker's claim for mesothelioma benefits. Case: McKenney’s Inc. v. Sinyard, No. A19A0204, 05/28/2019, published. Facts: Kevin Sinyard worked as a pipe fitter for years. From 1986 to 1989, Sinyard worked for McKenney's Inc. He then worked for the Cleveland Electric Co. from 1994 to 1996. Sinyard was exposed to asbestos over the years and was diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2014.
