Manufacturer Fined $9,900 for Excessive Heat Hazards

A Pennsylvania company faces $9,900 in penalties from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration for exposing its employees to excessive heat. OSHA said machine operators for Sterling Technologies in Lake City were exposed to excessive heat during 12-hour shifts while working rotational molding ovens operating at 600 degrees.
