Roofing and Construction Co. Cited, Faces $146K in Penalties

A roofing and construction company is facing $145,900 in proposed penalties after investigations by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration found employees were in danger of fall hazards, according to a release from the administration.  Tip Top Roofing & Construction, based in Sycamore, Illinois, was cited for two willful and three serious violations, prompted by a complaint OSHA received alleging the company was exposing workers to fall hazards at a residential worksite.  Investigators went to the worksite in Naperville and found the company had failed to protect...
