SAN FRANCISCO -- A California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board hearing regarding proposed regulations on lien filings drew only two speakers on Wednesday morning, but the public comment period on the regulations has been extended by two weeks.
The comment period, originally scheduled to end on Wednesday, will now close Jan. 18, Richard Newman, secretary and deputy commissioner of WCAB, announced.
