Court Overturns TTD Award to Retired Worker

The Connecticut Appellate Court ruled that a retired state worker was not entitled to an award of temporary total disability benefits following a post-retirement surgery. Stephen Cochran began working for the state Department of Transportation in 1967. Over the years, he worked his way up to a supervisory position, overseeing a garage with a crew of 30 employees.
