High Court Upholds Permanent Partial Disability Award for Bus Driver's Injuries from Averting Crash

The West Virginia Supreme Court upheld a 14% permanent partial disability award for a worker who suffered multiple injuries from jumping into an unattended car to prevent it from hitting a bus.  Case: Cox v. Nicholas County Board of Education, No. 21-0755, 06/13/2023, published. Facts: Brenda Cox worked for the Nicholas County Board of Education as a school bus driver.
