The Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire Department has raised the $50,000 needed for its worker's compensation insurance premium and will dodge the threat of being shuttered for the second year, according to The Register-Herald.Public officials said last week the volunteer agency could be forced to shutter on July 1 if the bill was not paid.
