Maximum benefits will increase 5.05% on July 1 to match the rise in Colorado’s average weekly wage, which increased to $1,180.47 from $1,123.71.
The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation announced the maximum compensation rate will increase to $1,074.22 from $1,022.56. The scheduled impairment rate, payable weekly, will increase to $337.11 from $320.90.
The cap on benefits for body disfigurement will increase to $5,686.96 from $5,413.52, with the cap on payments for extensive facial or bodily scars, burn scars or the loss of limbs increasing to $11,371.92 from $10,825.13.
