A bus driver for a Northern California school district was sentenced to 60 days in jail and ordered to pay $60,000 in restitution after being convicted on one count of workers’ compensation fraud and one count of auto insurance fraud.
Rick Rossi, 60, was a full-time bus driver for Cabrillo Unified School District who said he suffered an injury to his right eye that caused severe pain, headaches and loss of vision. He said he was unable to drive his vehicle because of the injury.
