Judge: QMEs Denied Reappointment Should Get Hearing Within Three Months

The two-year certification cycle for qualified medical evaluators means the Division of Workers’ Compensation can’t reasonably be required to provide a hearing before denying reappointment, but it also means the division has to ensure providers get a court date shortly after it issues a denial.
