The Vermont Press Bureau reports that an Essex man is asking the Vermont Supreme Court to overrule a Department of Labor and Industry decision that the employer does not need to pay the man's household expenses during vocational rehabilitation. Experts in the state say that if successful, the challenge would rewrite the state's workers' compensation laws and make the state's costs increase significantly.
