A bill that would allow advanced practice nurses to receive Level I accreditation could be called for a final vote in the Senate as early as today.
House Bill 1105, by Rep. Kyle Mullica, D-Northglenn, would expand the list of health care providers who can obtain Level I accreditation to include advance practice nurses who are authorized to prescribe drugs.
The Division of Workers’ Compensation says providers treating injured workers are “strongly recommended” to obtain Level I accreditation, although it is not mandatory.
