Death Benefit Increase Heading to Governor

Nevada lawmakers are sending Gov. Steve Sisolak a bill that would increase death benefits starting next year. The Senate on Wednesday voted 21-0 to pass AB 370, by Assemblyman Skip Daly, D-Sparks. The bill would increase workers’ compensation death benefits, by 2.3%, in 2020. At the same time, the measure would increase death benefits for beneficiaries of those who died before 1994.
