The West Virginia Supreme Court unanimously upheld an award of permanent partial disability benefits for a worker who fell on the sidewalk outside her workplace.
Judy Quick suffered injuries in October 2018 when she tripped and fell on a sidewalk outside of the courthouse where she was working.
A physician diagnosed her with contusions and possible internal derangement of the right knee. It was opined that the conditions were a direct result of her occupational injury.
