NJCRIB Announces Construction Class Premium Adjustment Program

The New Jersey Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau launched a redesigned application system for its Construction Classification Premium Adjustment Program. The program is intended to balance premiums among different construction firms that pay different rates. With premiums calculated based on payroll, a firm that pays higher wages could also pay more for workers’ compensation coverage for the same amount of risk as a business paying its workers less.
