Farmers Seeks $3.5 Million in Complaint Alleging DME Fraud

Farmers Insurance Group is demanding more than $3.5 million in a civil whistleblower complaint filed against four individuals associated with Aspen Medical Resources who were accused last year in a criminal indictment of fraudulently overbilling for durable medical equipment provided to injured workers in California. Farmers says Aspen and its owners Jeffrey E. Campau, Abraham Khorshad and Landen A.
