Most federal Office of Workers' Compensation Programs operations are experiencing delays and expecting resource management issues because of the increasing number of claims and social distancing orders in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a recent audit by the U.S. Department of Labor.
The audit, released earlier this month, recommended that multiple programs track delays, provide guidance, extend deadlines and take additional specific actions as needed.
