Report: Rural Americans Longing to Attract More Attorneys

Rural Americans in states such as South Dakota are increasingly troubled by a growing shortage of attorneys, according to a new report in the New York Times. The majority of attorneys live in urban areas, near the corporations they work for. As a result, residents in rural areas of South Dakota, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Georgia, Arizona, and Texas often have to drive as far as 120 miles just to see an attorney.
