OSHA Cites Frozen Foods Maker for 32 Violations

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited the maker of Red Baron's Pizza and Mrs. Smith's Desserts for 32 serious safety and health violations at its Atlanta plant and also cited a maintenance contractor and the staffing company for 18 violations.OSHA said that Schwan's Global Supply Chain did not provide adequate training for employees to work safely with ammonia, a hazardous and corrosive chemical used in refrigeration.
