Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin on Thursday appointed Workers' Compensation Commissioner Bob Gilliland as chairman of the body and announced that retiring Chairman Troy L. Wilson will remain on as a "special commissioner" until Aug. 31.
Wilson had announced his plans to retire on May 31. Fallin's office said in a statement that he will be paid $340 a day to fill in "when a member of the commission is disqualified because of a conflict."
