The West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of a bus driver who sought additional thoracic epidural steroid injections after his injury in a rear-end collision in 2015.
In a decision last month, the high court upheld the order of the state Workers’ Compensation Board of Review in the appeal by Hancock County Board of Education. The review board had authorized the injections for the driver, Lester Howell, and added herniated disks at T1-2 to his workers’ comp claim.
