Executives Appointed at AIG Property Casualty, EMEA Regions

American International Group has appointed Robert Schimek as president and chief executive officer of AIG Property Casualty’s Americas region. The insurer also tapped Nicholas Walsh to head the Europe, Middle East and Africa region on an interim basis, and Alexander Baugh to lead AIG’s global casualty business.Schimek is expected to relocate to New York from London, where he has been serving as president and CEO of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
