BWC Considers Rules on Physician Incentives, Lumbar Fusion Surgery

The Bureau of Workers' Compensation wants to award incentives to doctors who take on extra work as an injured worker's "treatment team leader." The agency also hopes to award incentives to doctors who agree to submit to "enhanced provider outcome measurements."
