The small Pennsylvania town of Carnegie may have lost its ambulance service because the emergency medical services director didn't pay for workers' compensation insurance, Pittsburgh's Channel 11 News reported.
Ambulance service in the western Pennsylvania town of roughly 8,000 shut down on Friday, the news channel reported. The borough will rely on neighboring Scott Township and Northwest EMS to answer emergency calls.
